On August 15, 1999, Sr. Bernardita Otibar made her first profession of religious vows. This 25th anniversary of the Religious Profession of Vows celebration means two essential things: God’s faithfulness in His call and the loving response to His call. For these 25 years, our dear Sr. Didith made a long and challenging journey full of surprises, and she was able to make it with God’s grace and mercy. In light of the feast of Mary, Our Lady of the Assumption, we can say that the demand of these 25 years is what Mary utters: “Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word.” May we be like Mary, open and cooperative in God’s plan of salvation.
May our foundress, Blessed Maria Domenica accompany her in this journey of love and service as she responds to God’s call for the next 25, 50, or more years according to God’s plan.
